IMPORTANT: If you choose to mail in a paper registration, please allow two weeks before checking registration confirmation as paper entries are manually entered by Marathon volunteers. Online registrations can be confirmed the same day as registered.
COST
Registration is FREE and open to all children ages 7-14. Parents may run with children but MUST REGISTER to do so . Only participants that are registered and wearing their race bib will be allowed on the race course.
PACKET PICKUP
Kids (or their parents, guardian, PAL representative, or teacher) can pick up their race number and goody bag at First Place Sports Thursday, April 29th or Friday, April 30th between 10am-6pm. Packets not picked up will be at the course on race day. Please bring registration confirmation and log sheet with you at time of pick up.
PACKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED.

AWARDS
All participants will receive a gold medal as they cross the finish line on race day. In addition, organizations and groups may participate in the Sheriff's Fitness Challenge and have a chance to win $1000 for their athletic goals.
RACE RESTRICTIONS
NO ANIMALS (except service animals), HEADPHONES, ROLLERBLADES, SKATES, SCOOTERS, BICYCLES, OR STROLLERS ARE PERMITTED ON THE RACE COURSE.
In accordance with the guidelines issued by USATF and Wheelchair Athletics USA, only runners and wheelchairs will be allowed on the course. The term “wheelchairs,” as used for this event, shall mean “push-rim wheelchairs” only. In addition, guidelines for wheelchair participants state that all chairs must be equipped with brakes, and wheelchair competitors must wear helmets.
